The Greater London Assembly

The London Assembly comprises 25 elected members. All 25 are elected at the same time as the Mayor. The London Assembly examines the Mayor's activities, questioning him about his decisions. The Assembly is also able to investigate other issues of importance to Londoners, publish its findings and recommendations, and make proposals to the Mayor.
